A place where Art and the Art of Life meet
Born with a pencil behind an ear and some brushes and paint in her pockets, Alja’s natural way of expressing her inner life was ignored and denied in her earlier childhood years. Consequently, it took her a while to discover their importance for her own life.
Developing her talents and opening herself for more realities then the ones she grew up with, brought her from being overwhelmed by life to insights in life. In its processes and natural laws. It enabled her to understand the essence of life and her tellings shared in metaphors.
Behind every painting she made is a story, based on an actual life happening, that made her search for answers to the many life questions she had.
You are wholeheartedly invited to enjoy a compilation of her work.
Over the years Alja created ‘The Legend of Mazze’ and ‘Read-Along Picturebooks’. They all share metaphorical stories in which the developments of the ‘eternal child’ and the many dimensions of consciousness that exist in life are depicted, often in word and always in illustration.
And in our joint search for answers which powers bear words within themselves Alja wrote for adults ‘Wat ‘Ik’ te vertellen heeft’ (‘Who is ‘I’ and what is -e telling ‘Me’). To her own surprise words and the natural development of the humane ego seem to be deeply connected and interrelated.
‘Yawe’ is inspired by the many creation stories passed down orally and shares of dimensions of life that we as humans seem to have forgotten. Answers to life’s questions that we as humans can seek seem to be scattered all over the world, and everyone has a piece of it. Putting these pieces together brought insights into where in history we have lost our true selves and how to get back ‘home’.
We hope they will all find their way to the hearts of many and love to invite you to enjoy them here!
The longing to understand and live universal life processes and natural laws invited us both to develop our personal creative talents. It made it possible to recognize and express ourselves in our existence. An Art of Life, of a curious, conscious being and sharing that with others.
We love to share our insights and creative work in publications and recommend inspiring ones of others.

Hello, we love to introduce ourselves.
We, Alja Zwierenberg and Ans Rijpert, are partners in life and as independent entrepreneurs at The Art of CCB. Living in The Netherlands.
From the moment we met a spark ignited that has never left us. A spark that became a complementary flame and stable source of energy and love in our lives.
We learned to walk the path of our souls by experience. Some deeply intense, some full of wonder.
The wisdom and smile on our faces was gained by accepting facts of life, experiencing and understanding all layers of life’s energy and the deeper truth and meaning of the universe in them. Learning and recognizing them as a help and guidance.
Our combined 40+ years of experience in the areas of art, teaching, counseling, personal development and mentorship have uniquely positioned us to what we are and express today.
